Vision
Young people have the potential to provide a
positive and dynamic contribution to the community around them.
The Mercian Trust is committed to
helping the youth of the Diocese to reach their full potential
Therefore, the Trust will hope to support quality and sustainable
youth projects that promote a greater understanding amongst young
people of both themselves and of those around them. It is hoped that
this will help to reduce feelings of disaffection and social
exclusion, which will in turn boost the social capital and create a
more vibrant and robust community
